| I notice that as yet there's no discussion of reflector ovens. These can be a very handy way of cooking around a fire while other cooking / heating is done over the same fire. Anything you can cook at home can be cooked in a reflector oven. As time permits, I'll give further details & mebbee some pics. My inexperienced guiding clients are delighted to see biscuits brown up before their eyes; even old timers appreciate my oatmeal-raisin cookies & meatloaf. |

| It would be interesting to see how you do a meatloaf in a reflector oven. I've heard of biscuits and cookies that way, but a meatloaf would be interesting. |

Just like any other meatloaf. I have a pan w/ drip holes that nests in a slightly larger pan. This helps the meatloaf set up & not get all soggy. The link will take you to Photobucket & a shot of one of my meatloaves.
